1. To me, it's necessary to rent a car to truly experience Maui, so it feels like they're underhandedly charging you more on top of your room charge.

3. The food on the resort is very expensive like one day we had a buffet that costed us $30 per person and the cafe is very overpriced , alos there are a lot of birds that keep flying into the food at the breakfast buffet.

5. A number of companies have conventions there and the attendees are rather young and like to hang out in big groups and drink at the pool and hot tub.

7. The Napua Tower room was extremely spacious, the furnishings were plush and clean, the bathroom was spotless and enormous with double sinks and marble, the balcony was large with a view of the grounds and ocean, and the bed & pillows were extraordinarily comfortable (we like soft beds).
