1. We were in our room for a total of about 7 hours, 5 of which were spent sleeping, so it really was just a place to crash, we didn't need to use WiFi, eat at the hotel, and we didn't need the concierge or the front desk for anything, but overall, the price was right, the place was clean, and the location was fabulous.

3. And yes, there is no coffee in the room and no free wi-fi, but so what? There are a million wonderful cafe's close by from Pret A Manger, to the Cosi cafe right across the street, with delicious breakfast, wifi, and fabulous service.

5. There are lots of bars and cafes close by and you instantly get the electric flavour of New York - gloriously buzzing but terribly noisy (which persisted all night) The hotel has a fabulous lobby, currently adorned to the gills with the most enormous Christmas tree and glitzy decorations.

6. All in all a very misleading establishment - website looks great as does the lobby but the rooms are a shambles - pay the extra and stay at the fabulous New York Palace.
