1. I am a Starwood Preferred Guest Platinum member (so I stay with them a lot) and generally a huge fan of their properties, but this one was a real disappointment.

2. It was especially disappointing because the shower head looked huge which leads one to assume the pressure will be industrial grade (good enough to wash an elephant let's say) but alas, it was only a few shades better than trickles.

5. They 'upgraded' me to a handicap room which is supposed to be bigger but the room was still tiny and the bathroom was a huge disappointment.

7. The hotel does not have free wifi, which is a huge downfall in a place like NYC where you are constantly looking showtimes, making reservations, or searching for directions.

9. The 'spa suite' on the 17th floor we booked was a fantastic space, with a huge wrap-around terrace that had stunning city views, plenty of chaises, and even a pool table.

10. The free Acura car service was wonderful and we used it a few times- including to get to maddison square garden on Christmas day which was a huge help and money saver for cabs, just make sure you book a fee days in advance.
