1. You really can't expect fully renovated and shiny new rooms for this price in Waikiki, especially not right across the beach.

10. The oceanfront room that I booked was everything I expected and more as it appeared the room had been recently 'refreshed' with new paint, carpet in excellent condition with a spectacular view of the ocean and surrounding areas.
