8. Good price (booked through Discount Hotels Hawaii), great view from 'ocean view' room, loved the location (cross the street and you're at the beach) and no bugs.

9. The TV is not a flat screen and the decor is plain BUT does that matter for the low price you pay and the fact that outside your door - a 3 min walk is the beach and beautiful turquoise waters, very warm breezes and songbirds singing a lovely tune, the Honolulu Zoo, and many parks.
