7. We had hoped we'd at least catch a glimpse of a sunset during our stay - instead, our balcony basically lined right up with the angle of the sunset - check the photos, it was absolutely gorgeous.

8. This hotel isn't a 5 stars where you will find marble counter top in your bathroom but its location on the edge of a gorgeous park and still downtown Honolulu makes it perfect for enjoying both nature and the beat of a dynamic and friendly city .
