2. The positive is that if you want to be close to the Waikiki strip and not pay a premium for the hotels on the actual strip and don't mind the noise, then it'd be ok.

8. Afraid I can't be more positive really as it was a night without sleep :) Most of my reviews are psitive but this one not so much, but I point out its not down to the hotel staff or facilities, just the street noise and the aircon box on the wall which funnels in the noise ilke a microphone.

I spent only one night - I left next morning to Marriott - the only reason was that rooms were too small (I need extra space I dont'l like small rooms) therefore apart from that I have no negative comments on this hotel - it's all positive and most of the staff kindness - I was there a month after the the change of ownership before it used to be called Wayland Waikiki and was run by Outrigger then they changed to Marriott.
