3. We were in Hawaii for 2 weeks and wanted a cheaper accom for the first half of the trip so we could splurge on our accom during the 2nd half of the trip - so we chose the Courtyard Marriott for our cheaper accom.

5. Other tips for thIngs to do: snorkelling in Hanauma Bay, Rainforest Hike with Oahu Tours, trekking up Diamond Head (much cheaper to get the bus and do this yourself rather than through a tour group).

6. We didn't spend much time in waikiki anyways, and took advantage of the parking at the hotel for our rental car (18 dollars a day to park at the hotel, which is cheaper than many of the other hotels that we looked at).

7. They also had a concierge who I found out worked for Expedia after she booked us our Polynesian Cultural Center package (later found an Oahu Gold guide at PCC that included an ad for Sav-on tours with an even cheaper rate).
