1. Although the customer service was great in terms of general things, if you have a problem, all of a sudden, the customer service is horrible.

3. generally there was a queue for breakfast in the restaurant at the bottom of the rainbow tower , although the wait was generally no more than 15 minutes.

9. Lots of off resort places to go including tours, Waikiki in general and the big mall about 15 min walk from the resort in particular.

Vacations and hotel stays are what you make of them; large hotels are generally not where I prefer to stay; but I also know what to expect; crowds, average food, waiting in line; when you know that going in; you can just relax and go with the flow; that's what we did and we had a very nice week.
