1. Some take exception to the gold lounge but we found it to be more than expected and a very nice bonus, particularly when we arrived in the early morning.

5. The hotel grounds are still fabulous and there is no better room in Waikiki except the Rainbow tower- which after renovations is magnificent.

8. Having stayed in Waikiki several times, I must conclude the Hilton Hawaiian Village is a satisfactory but not exceptional choice.

9. During our stay in March, the temp was around 80-82 F most of the time, there was a nice breeze and sunny except for a few drops of rains on one morning.

Have you ever been to a place where they lure you in with super cheap room prices and then pile on extra surcharges for meals, or whatever, so you end up pretty much paying the same amount you would have, or more, than you would have at a normal hotel? That's this property, except they take it even further by also having high nightly room prices(500-1500 for a Room).
