The hotel is fairly dated and our room was bordering on shabby, particularly the bathroom - the drain stopper was no longer attached to the tub, the ring that covers the hole where the shower goes into the wall was detached, the paint on the ceiling about the shower was peeling badly and, worst of all, the grout was dirty with noticeable mold in places.

3. The room was shabby (stained carpet, worn out rug, stained chair), smelly (ike a backed up sewer) and dirty (I found a giant hair ball on the blanket - gross); the shower pressure was also low.

4. Other disappointing aspects of the hotel included the slightly shabby carpet in the halls and the sense that the hotel's a/c was having a hard time keeping up with the DC humidity.
