1. The rooms are ageing and a number of mild imperfections cautioned us about the room, such as dirty sink, yellow stains on shower base, dirty underblanket on bed.

The hotel is fairly dated and our room was bordering on shabby, particularly the bathroom - the drain stopper was no longer attached to the tub, the ring that covers the hole where the shower goes into the wall was detached, the paint on the ceiling about the shower was peeling badly and, worst of all, the grout was dirty with noticeable mold in places.

3. The rug was a bit dirty, but otherwise the place was clean and extraordinarily comfortable--and the bathroom was really spacious.

4. The room was shabby (stained carpet, worn out rug, stained chair), smelly (ike a backed up sewer) and dirty (I found a giant hair ball on the blanket - gross); the shower pressure was also low.

6. The television in the room turned on by itself at 4:30 each morning (no idea why), housekeeping left dirty cups and didn't leave fresh service items (coffee) one day and the cracked bottom of the door threshold was a bit disconcerting.
