1. DC is definitely a busy, loud place so you can't really fault the hotel for the street noise.

A group of workers congregated in front of the elevator in the morning and talked loud enough that we were woken up and, after 30 minutes of listening to them holler and clap, we had to let them know that people were still trying to sleep and they seemed surprised and annoyed to hear that at 8am.

4. Apparently, people don't seem to care what they've pledged as I experienced nightly disturbances from loud parties in the hotel.

5. CONS: This hotel was very noisy with paper thin walls, and even asked me to sign a statement at check-in that I wouldn't have loud parties in my room (I haven't been asked to sign one of those since college Spring Break in Cancun.

6. I guess that group didn't have to sign the waiver about being loud and having parties in the rooms since it was the weekend :( very frustrating.
