5. The only semi-negatives are the cleaning schedule (if you`re not out early enough you can only get turn-down service later that day if you call the front desk, which is not a big deal, they refill anything you used and give you fresh towels, empty trash and turn down your bed) and we had a little trouble using the card to open the door.

The only negative was the distance from the downtown area as we didn`t have a car we had to get taxis and that was about 15 mins journey about 10$, if i was going to Santa Barbara again i think i would look for somewhere nearer to town, there is a street , i think its called Bath street , packed with hotels so i would advice to check there if you want to be by the sea and the main street.
