3. We had some issues with lights not working in the room and the door being hard to open and close, also the coffee in the room was not replaced when used , overall very good though.

4. Minor issues: one morning the housekeeping staff was a little loud somewhat early in the morning; they could have tried to be a little quieter.

5. If noise wasn't an issue, I would say this place is a good value for Santa Barbara (we paid the AAA rate of $214 plus tax), as long as decor isn't very important to you and you don't mind sleeping on a very hard springy mattress.

6. Only issue we had was that we were in a ground floor room at the front and a coach turned up late, parked outside our room and emptied a whole of noisy tourists.

7. We had a couple of issues with the DVD player in the room, but they promptly sent someone over to straighten out the problem.

8. It is a 5-10 min drive to the town which was a bit of a shame but not really an issue.

10. It was literally only about 2 inches deep and we, like most travelers probably, had quite a bit to put in it like i pods, passports etc, cash, travel documents, esp with the patio door issue.
