2. The Lodge is fairly basic , some may say tired - but the staff work hard to keep it clean and more than presentable and if you are visiting SB you are there for the town - you'll be out and about most hours .

3. We had some issues with lights not working in the room and the door being hard to open and close, also the coffee in the room was not replaced when used , overall very good though.

5. If noise wasn't an issue, I would say this place is a good value for Santa Barbara (we paid the AAA rate of $214 plus tax), as long as decor isn't very important to you and you don't mind sleeping on a very hard springy mattress.

8. We go to Santa Barbara every year for the annual orchid show and have found hotels In Santa Barbara to be expensive, in bad condition, or hard to book (minimum stays, etc.

10. Just remember, the Best Western Pepper Tree Inn is comfortable, convenient, and they really work hard to make you have a comfortable stay.
