Think of an older, time-
worn
resort, with a superficial coat of make up.

You can tell there have been major renovations and/or updates because the paint on the walls seems a little
worn
and repainted with several coats.

The bench seats on the booths are padded with
worn

The resort shows its age, and need of renovation from the well
worn
room to the missing sidewalk sections, to the rusting tower overlooking the algae filled manmade lagoon.
