1. I was rather hesitant to book this hotel after reading some of the reviews, not that they were bad but some people were complaining about things.

4. To rub in salt to wound, the staff even mentioned rooms are not guaranteed as we booked through 3rd party??? well, I am not going to mentioned staff names, but the funny thing is that after complaining to Seaworld Vacation, we were told Day's Hotel is one of their premier hotels (so this puts 'booking through 3rd party to rest.

Admittedly the rooms weren't the greatest (I suspect this is what gives the place the 'Hotel' name as opposed to 'Inn' in the Days food chain - But we didn't mind - When you are getting a hotel at a fair price less then most others, you just kind of assume 'room quality' is why - And there was nothing to complain about, mind you - but nothing to brag about either.

8. We booked 1 room with the mini-kitchen, one without, and got what we expected, though one of the TV's would not 'function' with the remote (remote DID work in the other room, so it wasn't the remote) - but we didn't care enough to complain - Watching tv isn't what brought us to San Diego.
