1. My room in particular was next to the fire escape which made me feel very unsafe since there was a door to the outside right outside my room.

2. I didn't especially enjoy the area - have never seen so many hobo's in one place before but I never felt unsafe around the hotel.

3. I'm not going to lie and say that there weren't homeless people around, we did see 3/4 when it got later but they didn't bother or hassle us and i never felt threatened or unsafe walking around the area.

4. THE LOCATION - While the immediate neighborhood can have some sketchy characters (it`s next to a bunch of bail bond shops and a Greyhound station), it`s literally a couple of blocks from the Gaslamp, and never really felt unsafe.
