1. The balcony was tiny (only big enough to stand on, with your stomach held in) but it was winter so we didn't spend any time out there.

The hotel was nice enough, but they didn't replace the water in the room, the guests next door to us left dirty diapers all over the hallway, the bathroom was tiny and there were no drawers for clothes, there were several other charges and inconveniences that were not major but nonethless irritating.

6. This section of downtown is quiet on the weekends because it's near office buildings, and the civic center (unless something is going on at the civic theater, which is right behind the hotel) It's across from Horton Plaza and the gaslamp is 2 tiny blocks away, so it's the perfect distance away.

7. At the Westgate, I enjoyed a spacious queen-size room compared with the closet-size room of the Comfort, where I had to stand sideways in the tiny room between the bed and the furniture.

8. Parking charge is no where mentioned in the hotel's website (just mentioned as valet parking)• 2 tiny water bottles provided to guests for the entire stay at the hotel.
