1. It seemed that pairs of rooms had separate foyers which kept hallway noise to a minimum.

2. *The windows are definitely not double paned for noise, we heard extremely loud ambulences and sirens both nights at 2 am which obviously does not make for very restful nights*The way adjacent rooms are situated is kind of odd.

7. The hotel is older and doesn't offer as much sound proofing, so you can hear street noise, and sirens and flashing lights lit up our room a time or two, but it's an urban downtown and I expected that.

8. Please be aware that there are some renovations being carried out in a part of the hotel and although i was on the top floor the noise at times was terrible this started at around 8.

9. to enter the room your first enter a small lobby which is shared with the next room so the elevator noise was not an issue.
