1. In regard to our room: the mattresses were a bit soft, some paint and plaster was chipped, some of the furniture needed to be recovered, the drapery control strings were broken, and the shower was difficult to access because it was in a jetted tub that had very high sides.

2. I gave it 4 of 5 since the hotel needs to do some touch up work in the bathroom (paint was chipped and could hear and feel wind in the bathroom toilet window).

3. They also need to pay a little attention to the condition of the bathrooms,to fixed chipped tile, and missing grout and caulking to hit that Excellent rating.

9. It was lovely but if you look closely you can see the ravages of time- cracks in the tiles, bath seals not great, crack in the bathtub and chips in the paint.
