1. I mentioned to the staff about the noisy and they gave me the valet parking for free.

2. Instead, I deal with a loud crowd of the local 'Occupy' movement and with rather very noisy guests on the floor above mine who were very active at 3:00 AM with some sort of power tool.

3. In summary:+: nice rooms, very friendly competent and engaged staff, wine hour is a fantastic idea, lobby/bar very nice places to while away time and meet people - you are not stuck in your room-: tv picture quality is pretty poor - still not fixed by refurb, in one or two rooms the plumbing starts getting a little noisy about 8am (probably one or two rooms I have stayed in, which I presume are nearer the pipes), rooms can get a little hot (minimum on the thermostat is about 68 degrees, and I like it cooler).

5. Initially I was assigned a Suite on the 15th Level facing the street - great view and pleasant surroundings - the frame to the bed was broken in this Suite and I was reassigned to a Suite on the 5th Level right next to a very active and noisy construction site directly outside of the Suite's windows.

6. Only problem is construction on the south part of the building so this part of the building can be noisy.

7. I ate in the restaurant and had an excellent dinner not over pricey the only negative is the restaurant is a little noisy due to the fact it is an open kitchen, other then that the waitstaff was great.

8. The pipes still chattered but weren`t as noisy.
"Hated it " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/7/2004 Vote
9. The attitude about the pipe noise from the staff was 'we have this problem, we know about it but we are still going to make you stay in this noisy room and you can complain about it but we are going to take your money anyway and continue to place patrons in those noisy rooms because we can.
