9. Another miss was that the small king room we had faced a part of the street that had a lot of very bright exterior lights (it was near a tram line), making it essential that the drapes (which were a little hard to open and close) be perfectly drawn (overlapping) to black the light.

10. The Hotel Monaco may not be the least expensive hotel in downtown Salt Lake City, but I would find it hard to believe there is another hotel with as friendly a staff.
