1. The lobby is very charming, the staff is very helpful, and kind, the rooms are very clean and smells that way,the rooms are big, with a balcony, the view of the river, and you can walk downtown from the hotel within minutes, and the shopping is endless, and lots of different kinds of restaurants to choose from,or you can eat at the hotels bistro h2o,very good food,so if your looking for a great place to stay, this is a great place.
"Really in enjoyed this hotel !! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/19/2012 Vote
2. Now, really: Thin walls, thin windows, crappy area, room smelled like old pets, small and late-century dingy.
"Meh. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/4/2012 Vote
3. We had no problem switching hotels until we saw where they booked us--one of those places you drive up to the room, right next to the highway, old carpet, old TV, old beds, less than clean and it smelled like cheap cologne.
"Hotel doesn't honor reservations, manager unavailable " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/20/2012 Vote
4. The room had a musty smell and was quite small, the noise of the rail cars was a constant reawakening late into the night.
"Nice but very noisy " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/4/2011 Vote
5. No funny smells or dirty carpet.
"Excellent choice, absolutely loved it " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/15/2011 Vote
6. Also, if you like to have your window open (like, if the room doesn't smell quite right), you'll find the night and early morning sounds from the traffic are quite annoying.
"Mostly good....would stay here again " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/28/2011 Vote
7. Bathroom shampoo and soaps smelled fantastic.
"On the Fence " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/20/2011 Vote
8. The staff was quite friendly & helpful (in areas they could help; not with the wet carpet or smoky smell); the parking fee/space was not as outrageous as other downtown hotels; free Wi-Fi was speedy.
"Nice service & remodel; needs a bit more work " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/18/2009 Vote
9. Unfortunately, our room still smelled strongly of cigarettes (plus was freezing because of an open window attempt at clearing the air) and the carpet was damp from a recent cleaning.
"Nice service & remodel; needs a bit more work " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/18/2009 Vote
10. The hallways were so ran down, they belonged in the 1970s, I could smell my neighbors smoking, and could hear the vending machine outside my door.
"Tried too hard. " Read full review on Expedia   9/2/2009 Vote
