1. The room was nicely furnished and the bed comfortable but the toilet/shower was cramped together to a point where you could barely turn around and my husband is a stocky man so he noticed it the most.

2. Everything did feel somewhat cramped, but the fact that the staff is so wonderful and that the location is really central, you cannot ask for more.

3. They have a nice shelving unit in the bathroom to add space to sit items like a toiletry bag, but it is cramped as in brush your teeth and use the facilities at the same time.

5. I opted for the least expensive room category and, although it was well appointed, it was cramped (and I'm a former bicycle racer and not your average large American, so I wonder how the meat-and-potatoes crowd would cope).
"A dignified establishment that has aged well and tries hard, but there were a few problems " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/27/2011 Vote
6. The rooms are small, but not cramped.

9. There are a few dings: I mentioned the cramped bowl/tub area, but this comes with the territory of many historic hotels.
"Everything a Hotel Should Be " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/1/2010 Vote
10. Unfortunately, the separate bowl and tub area is very cramped, but I can forgive that when the tub is a good depth and the shower head is generous.
