1. Yes it was raining inside my bed was completely soaked to the point where we complained and were changed room; the second room had a damp ceiling and the Television was not working due to a satellite and round 1am our door was opened whilst we were sleeping luckily we had put the chain on the door which prevented the door from opening.

2. The first morning, another guest was complaining about the offerings and commented that we were the first guests she had seen in their 4 day stay.

4. When we complained they just said to fill a form out and there were several other people complaining about backed up toilets and the like.

There were holes in the walls, dirty headboards, dirty walls, disgusting bathroom with dead bugs smeared on the wall, dresser drawer was falling off, toilet didnt flush, no hot water, parking lot was a construction dump, ice machine was broken, & when we picked up the phone on the nightstand to call the front desk to complain the phone line was ripped out.

6. In fact, while I usually check out Trip Advisor before I stay at a hotel, I often think that the reviews are written by snobby people who are mad about life and like to complain.

8. ( dont expect luxury if you aint paying for it) so why the hell do people complain about the rooms, yes i agree it needs some updating and is a bit run down but in my experience it was clean and the staff were more than helpful, on our 4th day we encountered a problem with our room and were given another room without any problem, lori the hotel manager goes out of her way to help where she can, she knows the hotel has some problems and is trying her best to resolve them.

9. the location is fab 5 mins from universal and right on the drive,if i was to complain about anyhing it would have to be about the lack of pool furniture and the fact that the pool bar was never open during our stay, during my stay here i never saw a cockroach or any other kind of bug, we always felt safe and secure, so in a nut shell if you want luxury dont stay here, you get what you pay for and this hotel offered value for the money we paid .
