2. Not a deal breaker, but unless you like that kind of constant loud din to block out other noise and lull you to sleep, that was the biggest detratcion from an otherwise nice room.

3. I imagine it is a vestige of whatever the property was prior to being a Hyatt but it was loud and not thermostat controlled.

4. The hotel was booked that night and I feared a first-floor room would be noisy with the pool nearby and being near the lobby but the extra loud A/C unit helped to deflect any noise.

5. Children/Teenagers could be heard roaming the halls, speaking loudly and running back and forth.
