1. I have stayed at this hotel in the past, but I do not remember the rooms being so small and noisy as they were this time.
"Unbeatable location, but bring ear plugs! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/25/2012 Vote
2. Still, I'd take it any day over a room over a noisy street.
"great experience " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/20/2012 Vote
3. Without a doubt, the best location in NOLA -- everything we wanted to visit was walkable, the shops and galleries were interesting to see as we walked by, not too noisy like Bourbon Street, which was only one block over and really fun to visit but wouldn't want to stay there.
"Heavenly! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/20/2012 Vote
4. Friday and Saturday night were incredibly noisy in the city and we certainly heard the noise in our room which seemed to be at the front of the hotel, toward Bourbon Street.
"Amazing Location! Beautiful Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/27/2012 Vote
5. Pros: hotel's character ( an old historic building ) , location ( great spot in French quarter ), revolving barCons: extra fee to use business center, cold pool ( all these cons still cannot convince me to drop a star from this gorgeous place ) I am so glad that I didn't reserve a hotel on Bourbon street , since it gets crazy noisy at night.
"It's all about character " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/15/2012 Vote
6. We asked the concierge for a nice, quiet, small, romantic restaurant and were sent to a noisy, 2-story sports bar with multiple TVs blaring throughout the restaurant.
"Underwhelmed, Overpriced " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/15/2012 Vote
7. ' Its location on Royal Street, one of the world's great shopping and strolling streets, can't be beat: one block from Bourbon but you're surrounded by antique stores and cute little shops, not noisy bars.
"The Real New Orleans " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/10/2012 Vote
8. I could not have chosen a better place because any closer to Bourbon (three blocks away) would have been too noisy and here was perfect on the pretty Royal Sytreet with anquique shops, restaurants and many a jazz group on many corners.
"Best, most elegant, best location, great staff " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/4/2012 Vote
9. I forgot to mention the location - on Royal Street right in the French Quarter, but not as incredibly noisy as Bourbon Street.
"Exceeded My Expectations! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/31/2011 Vote
10. It was nice and quiet which was a great contrast to the noisy bars on Bourbon Street.
"Older but great location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/21/2011 Vote
