1. We heard nothing futher from the hotel management until I informed reception at check out how badly we felt we had been treated.

7. My reviews look at the establishment as a whole - not whether or not I've ever had one negative situation with a member of the staff (which I have not) and there is just not one bad thing I can say about Hotel Monteleone.

10. We really felt duped, it wasn't the $20, that's negligible, but it is the bait and switch that is troubling in combination with the room which was very small, no real window, dirty, the carpet disgusting and the bad bed just made this visit intolerable.
