1. We did see homeless people and one asked me for money; yet the notion that this area is unsafe is ridiculous.

8. All in all - Hilton Downtown Miami is a disaster - I do not recommend it - only one restaurant - poor customer service, building is severly neglected - cleaning crew unorganized and not sure if they really cleaned my rooms some days if you know what I mean, unsafe, and so much more.
