1. Maybe my only complain is that the room I had was a little bit noisy, because it was located at the ground floor, and I could hear people passing by.

2. People complain about having to pay extra for parking, but I can only assume they haven't stayed at most hotels in LA before, because almost all of them make you pay for parking.

4. Elan does not look fancy on the outside, but I have no complains about my room, my bed, the bathroom (with modern amenities and hot water with a lot of pressure.

5. CONS: 1) if you are staying there for an extended period of time, you may want a kitchenette which this hotel does not offer; 2) the wifi wasn't always the best and neither was cell service, but it's free, so can't complain; 3) we had some slight problems w/ our bathtub drain backing up and the keys were tempermental - sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't, so we went through lots of keys.
