Overall the hotel is really nice; it has a great laid-back atmosphere, incredible views (especially at sunset), top location (right next to where all the action is but still noise-free at night), and although it lacks the little touches and seemless luxury services to be a true 5-star, it is still a great place to stay.

3. The only drawbacks to this property are: (1) it is under renovation; (2) the pool is closed; (3) the elevators seem to lack air conditioning; (4) it has exterior corridors, so if you do not like the heat (especially in the summer), this could be a problem.

6. The saddest failure is the lack of an infinity pool surround at the Sunset Key end, which would make the most amazing feature.
