1. The only downsides were that the only windows were a large round window above the bed and a smaller window in the middle of the room that had no 'blackout blinds' on them.

2. downsides are so-so cafe & restaurant (not including the French Room) but these do not detract from room size & comfort & a piano with live music in the main salon.

4. The biggest downside to the bedrooms is the lighting - not unusual in hotel rooms everywhere - but in my room there wasn't one mirror in the bedroom, no overhead lighting anywhere, only table lamps.
