1. The lack of beds and room size aside, one may consider the hotel to be 'classic', 'historic' or 'quaint' but to me it just seemed old and worn.

5. The air conditioning worked well, but it was an old unit and with a three position switch and the tags specifying what the switch did were worn to the point of being almost unreadable.

6. With the curtains open and the room exposed to daylight, the room carpet and paint appeared a little worn, but when I closed the curtains and turned on the lights, the room was much more charming.
