1. unfortunately we had problems with a group of noisy drunk guests who seemed to appear in our corridor every couple of hours all through the night, at one point banging/kicking a door, probably to wake up one of their friends.

4. One let down was that unfortunately I was very ill the second day of our trip and reception said there is no medical team based at the Luxor, just get a cab to a medical clinic.

7. They see so much turnover in guests that they need to be kept up, but unfortunately, they don't seem to be getting it.

8. Frankly I found the extra area to be relatively useless, and unfortunately the hot tub jets didn't work in our room, though since we got a free upgrade the broken tub didn't really bother me.

9. Mostly gone are the cheesy Egyptian motifs, but unfortunately it's been replaced by an even cheesier wannabe-neo/modern decor that seemed out of place relative to the big ol' pyramid that we are staying in.
