1. The building has apparently stopped at a nearby building site, due to funding issues so noise wasn't a problem from this (i had seen this on other reviews)The hotel: I was there for a conference, this is a good location for a conference many nicely air conditioned rooms with outside seating for lunch etc.

2. Smoke alarms in the room malfunctioned the second night and when the problem couldn't be resolved we were moved to a larger suite for the remainder of our stay.

5. Check inI had a living social deal and this posed a problem and it took them nearly an hour to figure it out.

PROBLEM is wifi only 'included' while in your room and our only 'electronic' devices were our iphones which we were told quite often take a 'long time' for the wifi to start working?? really? and in room only?Liked the food options as far as the food court and starbucks, however while the very inexpensive buffets are great the lines were terrible.

7. Sure, the Red Rock is a long way from the strip, but there's plenty of action at the resort, and there is a courtesy shuttle going to the strip and back quite often, so getting around is not a problem either.
