4. Ours was furnished in what I can only call 'Retro Salvation Army,' and that's being generous: peeling wallpaper, curtain sliding off the rod, cracked and crumpled lampshade, dirty armchair with sagging cushion held in place with velcro.

5. The view of the broken picnic table from my balcony with the dirty $5 plastic chair and the extremely disappointing outdoor 'spa' with plastic, rocks, a lawn mower, hose and weeds surrounding it was the final straw that made me cancel my reservation and find another hotel at 10pm.
