1. The only other issue was that we had an outside room so traffic noise was constant - if we return we'll ask for an interior room overlooking the pool - we expect it will be somewhat cooler as well as quieter.

2. The room was very stuffy so we had to open the window in order to get any type of breeze or fresh air, well the noise from the road right outside was so bad that having a window open meant no sleep for us.

7. noise does carry, we did hear some late night noise but I have heard noise from other lodgers at 4 star hotels in San Fran, so I don't understand the big deal there either.

10. You can get a room that faces into the pool area (pool was being refurbished and closed off), but then you'd get no air flow, but less noise.
