1. The furniture in the room seemed rather old, and I could tell that someone had been smoking in the room or at least on that level, as I could smell stale cigarette smoke, mainly on the first night.

3. So we opened the window, but then the smell of whatever was being cooked in a nearby restaurant (2/3 nights it was awful smelling fish) would woft into our room.

4. I was disappointed that the BART smells of urine (the car we were on anyways) with stains on the carpet (yes carpet?) and seats.

5. The not so nice features are a single slow elevator, jalousie windows that let in cold air and outside noises including dog barking and lots of sirens, room was close to elevator so could hear people talking while waiting for slow elevator, smells from diner below entered room, and after leaving a tip for the cleaning staff on desk, quarters were missing from night stand.

8. This does have a downside in that it was a little noisy at night, but then you also wake up to the bustling sounds of the city, and the smell of breakfast cooking, which we loved.

9. In addition to this there must have been a leak from the radiator as the carpet alongside the radiator was saturated and, i can only assume, most likely responsible for the musty smell in the room.

10. towels were rarely changed over the 5 night stay, coffee was never topped up in the room and the musty smell in the room was very annoying.
