1. Got a good deal on the hotel so found it hard to really complain but if you're thinking about staying, check the situation with the refurbishment works first.

6. Next morning after complaining they moved us to another room that had the window opening to the carpark at least not as noisy.

7. 30pm and 15 minutes later I awoke to knocking and just before I got to the door it opened - imagine if we had of woke up with a stranger in our room????? The rooms were not soundproof - banging and crashing, walking in the room above, when we complained they offered to move us but hey we declined as we did not want to move all our stuff out they could have gone to the room above us and asked them to tone it down.
