Lots of beggars around but we never felt
unsafe
or threatened and just walked on and ignored them.

It is near a pretty bad area, so there are some homeless and folks aggressively asking for money, however we never felt
unsafe

The hotel is located in the slightly seedier part of town if you looked carefully you could see the signs but at no time did we feel
unsafe
or nervous - even in the dark late at night.

At no point did we feel
unsafe
, even walking down Post Street to Market, which is through the heart of the Tenderloin.

Lastly, don`t worry about the beggars, they may ask for some change but they don`t bother you nor will they make you feel
unsafe

You do get some homeless people hanging around the immediate area, particularly at night, but they mostly seem to pick fights with one another and I didn`t feel
unsafe
staying here.

The word is that this hotel borders on a less-than-desirable neighborhood, but in reality it is not in the LEAST BIT
unsafe
