1. Lots of beggars around but we never felt unsafe or threatened and just walked on and ignored them.

7. Warning: the hotel is located a a few blocks from the Tenderloin district, which is a sleazy and unsafe area, fill with homeless, drug addicts, and porn shops.

9. You do get some homeless people hanging around the immediate area, particularly at night, but they mostly seem to pick fights with one another and I didn`t feel unsafe staying here.
