1. Perhaps in warmer weather this might have been an issue.

2. As far as noise was concerned, we were on the 8th floor and it wasn't an issue although we did sleep with the windows closed because of the duvet problem.

4. I was on the 7th floor, and it was quiet - no issues with noise.

5. The hotel did finally give us a voucher for a free breakfast for our trouble, however replacing coffee is so basic, and it should never have been an issue.

Here are a few of my experiences/observations:-- we booked a deluxe king and were placed on one of the higher floors which is desirable due to street noise-- our A/C unit was not working properly and stopped working at 3am; a quick call to the front desk solved this issue but the 3am wake up call was not ideal.

8. We were here 2 years ago and had a bit of an issue with our room and service, so the hotel manager very kindly offered us a special rate if we were ever to come back again.
