1. Other rooms (the housekeeper showed us) were quite small and folks staying beside the elevator said that was loud.

5. The only problem was I did hear the people on the floor above walking around very late which did disturb me and the street noise was a bit loud on Monday morning but not at all over the weekend.

6. Only concern - Petite Auberge is an older building; best to have an upper-floor room as foot-falls over our 4th floor room were loud (this happened only once or twice - people were very thoughtful in this regard).

8. We were constantly woken up, either by really squeaky floorboards, clanking water pipes, the (really loud) sound when any neibouring room has a shower, and then finally by the maids being loud outside our door (for which they did apologise to be fair, but still.
