The wallpaper is peeling, poor quality furniture is falling apart, chips on the toilet seat (yuk), the brass finished bathroom fixtures are worn, the floor tile (a poor choice to begin with) is

and the carpet is dirty.

I loved the touch of the teddy bear on the bed in the room, and the hot out of the oven chocolate
chip
cookies at night made me feel like I was back in my childhood at Grandmother's house.
