avoid
Tenderloin late at night but rather than that you have everything you could imagine around you,.

Just
avoid
the 9th floor, be sure to check your receipt before leaving the hotel and don't expect much help from the front desk staff -- you'll do just fine.

First,
avoid
the 9th floor rooms if you are a light sleeper.

While by NO MEANS is this hotel terrible or somewhere you should
avoid
at all costs, if you can, I would suggest you stay elsewhere.

no matter what hotel you stay at in the U SQ area, you CANNOT
avoid
the bums (unless you hide in your hotel 24/7).

We did use the Museum Parc Garage which is within walking distance at 3rd and Folsom to

I felt comfortable enough to let my two teenagers 18 and 16 venture out for some independent exploring (do
avoid
Mission Street though).

My one tip is to
avoid
one of the rooms facing onto the internal 'zen garden', these are smaller rooms, with no view.
