2. The rooms were very spacious, had a good sized double bed, tv, good sized bathroom and a good sized wardrobe area with an iron and ironing board(i hate calling to reception and waiting hours for them to bring irons, so this was a bonus.

4. The rooms were quite large (for a city hotel) and I enjoyed the amenities such as the white bathrobe, in room safe and wine glasses (hate drinking wine from glass tumblers.

I hate to let others in on this best kept secret, but The Donatello and its wonderful staff deserve better, so here it is: if you are planning a trip to San Francisco (business or leisure) and you are looking for the most spacious and well designed rooms in town, central location (one block off Union Square), if you appreciate being treated like a guest (compared to the number treatment you get at most other hotels), and if you want the best value you can get The Donatello is the hotel for you.

8. Plus I hate the hotel with only the moquet on the floor because of my allergy for the dust, but here the floor of the hall is made with a beautiful marble.
