1. The club level rooms are on the top floors,they are quite large, would recommend to anyone to get an upgrade to avoid the street noise.

3. The front desk reception even showed us on a city map areas to visit and areas to avoid (for 3 females travelling alone).

4. We ate in the Zingari restaurant in the hotel one night to avoid ging out in a heavy rain and were very happy with the food, price and service.

5. Whenever we needed to walk west (like to the Civic Center), we just went up one block to Sutter across then down Van Ness to avoid the Tenderloin.

8. All in all, you could pay a lot more for a lot less, but why would you? One caution: as has been mentioned here before, you will probably want to sleep with the windows open, so to avoid the street noise, ask for a room 10th floor or above.

10. *Sound wasn't an issue - I mean, yes, you can hear traffic below, but I'm really not sure you can avoid that in SF and it wasn't as bad as some other hotels we've stayed at before.
