1. Also, did not eat at hotel restaurant, did order room service though, it's expensive with all the added on tax, but what room service isn't? Nice grilled cheese :-)The ballet parking was 28$.

3. It was not as expensive as I thought it would be for downtown San Francisco and I was pleasantly surprised by the care and attention shown by the entire staff from front desk, to bellman, to housekeeping, and especially the concierge on the Club Level upstairs.

9. Overall a great stay, would highly recommend to anyone visting San Francisco, we have stayed at a number of hotels in San francisco over the years, many far more expensive than the Donatello, but none felt so welcoming and comfortable, which made for a very relaxing and pleasant stay.
