6. In the case of San Francisco, the room, including the bathroom, was pure late 1980s, both in style, functionality and shabbiness (my first sight upon entering the room, even before the views which are great, was a badly stained red silk banquette.

10. On weekends it is pretty quiet in the area ( not necessarily a bad thing) but unless you are a committed walker you are a bit removed from some of the more popular spots.
